Bagel Joint is seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Baker to join our team. As Assistant Baker, you will work closely with the Head Baker to produce our signature bagels and pastries, ensuring high-quality products are available to our customers each morning. Responsibilities :

• Assist the Head Baker in preparing, baking, and finishing bagels and pastries according to Bagel Joint's recipes and standards.
• Ensure that all baked goods (challah, babka, bialys, and rugelach) are produced on time each morning before opening and meet the company’s quality guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including the kitchen and baking areas.
• Operate bakery equipment such as ovens and bagel kettle safely and efficiently.
• Monitor inventory and report shortages or issues with ingredients or supplies to the Head Baker.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the kitchen meets health regulations.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.
