Job summary

AV Solutions is seeking an Assistant AV Installer to join our delivery team in Baton Rouge. You will assist with assembling, testing, delivering, installing, training, and servicing AV systems to AV Solutions standards.

Successful candidates will possess strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, plus experience with tools and basic IT applications. Some travel and flexible hours may be required to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience operating power and hand tools.
• Preferred experience mounting TVs and projectors.
• Preferred experience pulling, terminating, and testing Cat 5/6 cable.
• Knowledge of audio and-video equipment and technologies.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Experience with MS Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, Zoom, etc.
• Strong time management and adaptability to challenges.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, plan, deliver, install, train, and service AV Solutions systems.
• Deliver accurate responses and outcomes to meet client expectations.
• Leave client sites clean and minimize disruptions during projects.
• Coordinate with Lead Installer and Project Team Manager on project matters.
