Qualifications

• Active Vermont bar membership or eligibility for admission
• 6+ years of relevant litigation/consumer law experience
• Excellent legal writing and analysis skills
• Strong oral advocacy and communication skills
• Effective time management and ability to work independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

• Handle investigations and litigation related to unfair and deceptive business practices under Vermont's consumer and antitrust laws.
• File suits, resolve disputes, issue guidance and conduct consumer education.
• Collaborate with the Consumer Assistance Program and other divisions as needed.
• Travel for court appearances and related proceedings.
