Qualifications

• Admission to the Florida Bar and two years of professional experience in the practice of law, legal research, teaching law or in administrative or judicial hearings.
• Preference will be given to attorneys with 3+ years of civil litigation experience and 2+ years handling fraud or deceptive trade practices cases.
• Experience with e-discovery review on complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Lead a dedicated team of investigators and staff, oversee collection of evidence, and direct case strategy and litigation.
• Draft, manage, and negotiate civil investigations and resolutions, including consent judgments and assurances of voluntary compliance.
• Initiate and manage civil litigation from filing through trial in state and federal courts.
• Collaborate with local, state, and federal agencies on investigations and litigation.
• Maintain current expertise in consumer protection law and assist in legislative changes.
