The role involves performing legal work with limited supervision for the State and its subdivisions, primarily as an Assistant Attorney General within the Criminal Division's General and Special Prosecution Unit.

Minimum qualifications include: Juris Doctorate Degree and at least five years of practicing experience, preferably in a Public Defender's or Solicitor's Office or equivalent criminal prosecution/defense experience.
Necessary requirements: Must be a member in good standing with the South Carolina Bar and meet Rule 403 requirements.
