Job summary

Qualifications

• Admission to the Florida Bar and two years of professional experience in the practice of law.
• Experience practicing law in a U.S. state or territory.
• Other state Bar in good standing may substitute if admitted to Florida within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Render legal advice to regulatory boards and state agencies on rulemaking and agency actions.
• Conduct independent legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda, and participate in hearings.
• Respond to inquiries about agency powers and maintain current expertise in relevant law and procedures.
