Job summary

Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University is seeking an Athletic Trainer to prevent, evaluate, and treat student‑athlete injuries across campus programs, collaborating with physicians, coaches, and staff to safeguard health and PHI records.

Responsibilities include CPR/AED and First Aid education, day‑to‑day athletic training room management, team travel, equipment and calendar maintenance, and adherence to licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or related field in exercise physiology/health education or sports medicine.
• BOC Certification for Athletic Training is required or preferred.
• Arizona Athletic Training License is required.
• CPR/AED certification is current.

Responsibilities

• Prevention of athletic injuries and illnesses.
• Evaluation of athletic injuries.
• Treatment of athletic injuries.
• Providing education and counseling to student‑athletes about their injury/illness.
• Oversee the CPR/AED and First Aid education for all Athletic Staff.
• Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the athletic training room.
