Job Description

Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University invites you to join our team of athletic training professionals as we celebrate our centennial. This role supports student‑athlete health and safety across our Daytona Beach and Prescott campuses.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Director of Athletic Training, you will manage the athletic training program for both male and female teams.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prevent and treat athletic injuries and illnesses; evaluate injuries and provide education to student‑athletes.
  • Oversee CPR / AED and first aid education for all athletic staff.
  • Manage day‑to‑day operations of the athletic training room.
  • Travel with teams and participate in inventory management of supplies.
  • Document and maintain student‑athlete PHI—including physicals, injury reports, and rehabilitation—in the SportsWare online system.
  • Maintain communication with the Director, student‑athletes, coaches, and physicians.
  • Attend meetings within the Department of Athletics and coordinate an athletic calendar of events.
  • Maintain records for all athletic physical examinations.
  • Complete required CEUs for NATA and Arizona licensure.
  • Remain in good standing with the NATA and Arizona Athletic Trainer’s License.
  • Develop and enforce Embry Riddle athletic training policy & procedures for athletes.
  • Work more than the traditional 40 hours per week, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license for transportation of the team and ability to travel for team practice and competition.
  • Other duties as assigned.
