Job summary

Qualifications

• BOC Certification required and current standing.
• Must be eligible for Colorado state licensure or hold a current license.
• Master's degree in athletic training or related field from an accredited program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide injury evaluation, prevention strategies, emergency care, and rehab plans for student-athletes.
• Coordinate with staff, coaches, and physicians to support care delivery.
• Oversee pre-participation screenings and medical paperwork.
• Maintain HIPAA/FERPA compliant electronic health records.
• Cover practices, home events, and travel for assigned teams.
• Assist with athletic training room operations and inventory.
• Serve as liaison between athletes and coaching staff regarding injury status.
• Support drug-testing coordination and compliance procedures.
• Provide coverage for university-hosted events as requested.
• Uphold NCAA, RMAC, and university policies in clinical care.
