The position of Assistant Athletic Coach is an 'at-will' position. As an 'at-will' employee, Yavapai College may terminate employment at any time and for any lawful reason. Since this position serves at the pleasure of the Head Coach and should that position become vacant or the Head Coach replaced, this position may be ending at the same time.
The Assistant Athletic Coach & Admissions Specialist is a dual‑role position that supports both Yavapai College Athletics and Enrollment Management. During the athletic season, the employee assists with coaching, student‑athlete development, recruitment, and program operations. During the off‑season, the employee serves as an Admissions Specialist, supporting prospective and current students through the enrollment process and participating in recruitment and outreach activities.
This position plays a critical role in attracting, enrolling, and supporting students while contributing to the success of Yavapai College’s athletic and enrollment goals.
