Assistant/Associate Professor - Multiple Positions (OB/GYN Generalist/Hospitalist)

Full‑time positions are available at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School for Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN physicians. The role involves general obstetric‑gynecologic practice, including prenatal, labor, delivery and post‑natal management, along with cesarean delivery, hysterectomy and standard outpatient procedures. Physicians may also serve as family planning specialists, hospitalists, laborists or nocturnists based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide general obstetric–gynecologic care, including prenatal, labor, delivery and post‑natal management.
• Perform cesarean deliveries, hysterectomies, and standard outpatient OB/GYN procedures.
• Integrate teaching and clinical duties within the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School mission.
• Promote patient safety, quality and research, including global health and addiction medicine interests.
• Participate in clinical service, educational mission and leadership opportunities as appropriate.

Qualifications

• New Jersey medical license (full licensure or completion of residency/fellowship pending).
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Experience in general OB/GYN practice and preferably hospitalist/hospital care environment.
• Ability to secure required licensure and board eligibility prior to first day of employment.

Salary and Benefits

Academic year appointment with a minimum annual salary of $290,402, with total compensation determined by qualifications, experience and departmental funding.
