Summary:
Successful candidates are expected to have and/or obtain an independent, externally funded, and sustainable scholarly research program, demonstrate rigorous and innovative research, and have a strong publication record. They will participate in Department of Family Medicine and Community Health (DFMCH) and Program in Health Disparities Research (PHDR) projects and programs, and teach medical and public health students and residents.
Hire will be at Assistant, Associate, or Professor level, tenure-track or tenured, depending on qualifications. Candidates seeking the rank of Tenured Associate Professor or Tenured Professor must have an established academic track record and meet the criteria for appointment at the University of Minnesota Medical School.

The Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Minnesota has a 50-year history of leadership in education, research, and patient care. Salary Range: $114,192-$148,000, depending on experience and rank, competitive with market benchmarks. Additional compensation opportunities are available.
