The UCSF Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science is seeking a full-time faculty member in the Health Sciences Clinical and Clinical X Professor series (at the rank of Assistant/Associate) to provide Pediatric Physical Therapy services at UCSF Parnassus Medical Center, with expertise in evidence-based pediatric practice. The role also involves supporting the UCSF/SFSU Graduate Program in Physical Therapy.
The Rehabilitation Services at UCSF Parnassus serve a diverse patient population, from pediatric to elderly, with various diagnoses across settings like critical care and Emergency Department. Our clinical teams focus on initiatives such as early mobility, delirium and falls reduction, and outcome improvements in Pediatrics, Orthopedics & Spine, Cardiology, Neurology, Medical/Surgery, Medicine, and Oncology.
Applicants must meet all requirements by the time of hire and list current/pending qualifications in their materials. The position involves approximately 95% patient care and 5% teaching, with opportunities to participate in teaching and research, especially focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience, with a minimum salary of $118,000.
