Montefiore is ranked among the top hospitals nationally and regionally by U.S. News & World Report. For more than 100 years we have been innovating new treatments, new procedures and new approaches to patient care, producing stellar outcomes and raising the bar for medical centers in the region and around the world. To help achieve these goals, Montefiore is recruiting for an Associate General Counsel to provide expertise, create efficiencies, realize financial savings, and add value for our Clinicians and Associates.

To qualify, you must be licensed to practice law in the state of New York and have at least 10 years of significant legal work experience, primarily in transactional matters, with a focus in contract negotiation, either as in-house counsel or external legal counsel. Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as are strong client service, problem solving, project management, and negotiation capabilities.
