The Division of Renal Diseases and Hypertension in the Department of Medicine at the University of Minnesota is recruiting a full-time Clinician Scholar at the rank of Assistant Professor. The focus will be on research related to the health of women with kidney disease. The position entails 0.85 clinical full-time equivalent (FTE) and 0.15 research-focused FTE. Responsibilities include applying for research grants, publishing scientific papers, and establishing collaborations.
Clinical duties include outpatient clinics at M Health Clinics and Surgery Center, inpatient consults at University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview, and potential engagement in renal replacement therapy at dialysis units in the Twin Cities. The division comprises 14 general nephrologists and 4 transplant nephrologists, many of whom are renowned clinicians and researchers. The faculty will contribute to the academic mission of the Department of Medicine and the Division of Renal Diseases and Hypertension.
