An established industry player is seeking a motivated Assistant / Associate Director of Individual Giving to enhance its fundraising efforts. This role involves identifying and cultivating relationships with potential donors, managing a diverse portfolio, and developing strategies to secure significant contributions. Reporting to the Executive Director of Development, Major Gifts and Regional Advancement, the Assistant / Associate Director of Individual Giving is a key contributing member of the Fordham Fund team that helps to grow the University’s giving program. The incumbent is charged with identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and closing gift commitments in the $5,000 to $100,000 range; retaining and increasing giving from existing donors; increasing donors and dollars from President’s Club donors; and meeting the fundraising goals and objectives established for the University. They also work with team members on messaging and outreach around the President’s Club program and help organize small cultivation events to engage and develop annual donors. Travel and evening/weekend work is required.

Responds to other special projects that support development objectives, particularly for Reunion year classes. Exhibits dedication to Fordham University and its mission, as well as the ability to fully articulate it to all.
Minimum of 3 years’ (Assistant Director) / 4 years’ (Associate Director) experience in development, business, sales, or a related industry.
Proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Office, and managing data.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills. Asst. Dir: $75,000 - $85,000 / Assoc. Dir: $85,000 - $95,000.
