Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Assistant Apparel Production Manager to support operations at our New York City factory. In this operations-heavy role, you will work closely with our production team to manage overseas communication, handle production tracking, maintain spreadsheets, and coordinate daily with partner factories in China.

The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and capable of keeping multiple moving parts aligned across strict timelines and inventory systems without constant oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Factory Coordination: Act as the primary liaison with factories in China; manage daily communication regarding production updates, timelines, and quality control follow-ups.
• Data & Tracking: Update and maintain comprehensive production spreadsheets, internal tracking documents, and delivery timelines.
• Inventory Management: Track, reconcile, and align inventory across production and internal records, including inventory dating, managing returns, and maintaining accurate product flow logs.
• Logistics Support: Assist with shipping, order handling, and fulfillment workflows to support our growing e-commerce component.
• Team Support: Partner closely with the Production Manager to streamline overseas workflows and execute day-to-day operational needs.

Required Qualifications

• Language: Professional fluency in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken) is strictly required to facilitate direct factory communication.
• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in apparel production, fashion manufacturing, or sourcing coordination.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in spreadsheet management (Excel/Google Sheets) and production tracking documents.
• Logistics: Must be able to work full-time on-site at our New York City location.
