Job summary

Avantara Mountain View is seeking an Assistant Administrator/Administrator in Training (AIT) to join our team. The AIT will work closely with our skilled Administrator to learn daily operations while obtaining licensure to transition to site Administrator.

The role emphasizes resident care, problem-solving, and building a positive facility culture while achieving facility-wide goals. The AIT must obtain LNHA within 1 year after completion of the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare management or related field is required.
• Two (2) years of prior experience as an Assistant Administrator or Executive Director in a skilled nursing setting.
• Must be willing to join the Administrator-in-training program with the goal of licensure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations and ensure high standard of resident care.
• Work closely with the Administrator to learn competencies and progress through the AIT program.
• Support facility goals, problem-solve creatively, and foster a positive, inclusive culture.

As an Assistant Administrator/AIT, your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect by instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, setting and attaining facility wide goals, creative problem solving and overseeing all aspects of facility operation. The AIT must obtain a current State Nursing Home Administrator License (LNHA) after completion of the AIT program within 1 year.

As a minimum, Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management or related field and two (2) years of prior experience as an Assistant Administrator or Executive director role in a skilled nursing setting. Must be willing to join our Administrator-in-training program with the goal of becoming a licensed administrator.
