Job summary

Livingstone College in Salisbury, NC seeks an Associate AD for Sports Medicine/Assistant Head Athletic Trainer to provide leadership in college athletics and ensure the healthcare and safety of student-athletes. You will lead the team of athletic trainers, work with team physicians and coaches, manage wellness information, and oversee rehabilitation and records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in athletic training or related field; master's preferred.
• Two years’ experience in collegiate athletics.
• Eligible for North Carolina Athletic Training licensure.
• CPR/AED Healthcare Provider certification.
• NATABOC certification.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight to athletic trainers.
• Collaborate with team physicians, coaches, and healthcare staff.
• Ensure healthcare and safety of student‑athletes.
• Maintain records and supervise rehabilitation programs.
• Coordinate sports medicine services at NCAA Division 2 level.
