Ascension Living is seeking a dedicated Recreational Therapist at Sacred Heart Village in Avilla, IN. You will assess activity needs, design engaging programs, lead group and individual activities, and support residents in meeting personalized treatment goals within a compassionate, team-based environment.

This role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and organization of treatment areas, along with light clerical tasks.

Qualifikationen

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • None Required.
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Heart Saver AED. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Preferred Experience

• 1 year of experience in working with the geriatric population is preferred.
