The role leads a small team of three Senior Accountants, oversees day-to-day accounting, and ensures accurate financial reporting and close processes across multi-unit operations. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proven leadership ability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
• Experience in general ledger, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and internal controls understanding.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy and deadlines.
• Lead and mentor a team of three Senior Accountants.
• Review GL activity, journal entries, and reconciliations for accuracy.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes and reporting.
• Assist with financial statements, analysis, and management reporting.
• Monitor balances, investigate variances, and uphold internal controls.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve processes and efficiency.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve accounting issues.
• Prepare documentation and support for audits and compliance.
