BIG STEPS LITTLE FEET INC. is seeking an Assistant Young 3's Teacher in Ada, MI. The role supports the lead teacher to plan developmentally appropriate activities and maintain a safe, nurturing classroom for young learners.

Experience with toddlers or preschoolers is preferred, along with a high school diploma. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus, and the school emphasizes a positive, energetic environment and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience with toddlers or preschool-aged children preferred.
• Basic knowledge of early childhood development principles.
• Positive, energetic classroom attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities for young 3-year-olds
• Support a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that encourages growth and development
• Guide children through daily routines including circle time, free play, snack, and transitions
• Observe and monitor children's behavior, social interactions, and developmental milestones
• Communicate openly and positively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress
• Assist with classroom management and reinforce positive behavior strategies
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom setting
