University Housing at the University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking a Housing Coordinator II to manage data-driven housing processes and contracts. The role focuses on end-user data management, StarRez usage, and coordinating with students and families to support residential experiences.

Job Summary: University Housing is now hiring! We are looking for a professional interested in working in a student services role which requires software and data management skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate end-user ability to use a complex database (StarRez) to serve our students and staff. The Assignment System Coordinator advises students and their families in preparation for their residential experience at the University by directing activities related to contracting and assignment and meeting Division occupancy goals including learning and theme communities.
Work Schedule: The primary schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 7:45am – 4:30pm, including occasional evening responsibilities based on operational need. Work schedule will be set with selected finalist(s) at time of offer. Schedule alterations as operations and position expectations demand.
University Housing Residential Operations provides residential accommodations, programs, and services to actively support the mission of the University; meet the needs of students, families, staff, and guests; and foster the development of residential communities. Residential Operations includes Marketing and Communications, Events and Conferences, Desk Services, and Residence Hall Assignments. University Housing houses over 8,000 students in Residence Halls across campus and 3,000 residents in University Apartments.
