Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; associate degree + 4 years experience may be considered.
• High school diploma + 6 years experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• U.S. citizenship and fluent English required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish if required.
• Able to obtain a favorable Tier 2 investigation.
• Must pass the OCI process.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal financial counseling and management services to service members and their families.
• Assists service members in establishing spending plans for extended absences.
• Develops and distributes informational financial materials.
• Coordinates and delivers Personal Financial Management classes/workshops.
• Gives briefings and presentations; conducts referrals as needed.
• Works with installation POCs to ensure program scope and needs are met.
• Adheres to DoD protocols for duty to warn and maintains supervision with leadership.
