Job summary

Target in Goldsboro, NC is seeking an Assets Protection Specialist to help keep guests, team members and the store safe while preventing loss. You'll use surveillance, document cases and respond to security incidents to maintain a secure shopping environment.

Ideal candidates are at least 18, have a high school diploma, and can work flexible hours including nights and weekends. Training is provided to learn Target's AP practices and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments.
• Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support total store sales, guest service and increase profitability by ensuring product is in stock and available to guests by preventing and resolving theft.
• Respond to security incidents and submit appropriate documentation for all incidents following AP policy and procedures.
