Job summary

Target is seeking an Assets Protection Team Leader in Valdosta, GA, to lead security operations and protect assets. You will oversee theft prevention, safety protocols, and guest/team safety while guiding hourly staff and coordinating with store leadership and law enforcement as needed.

Ideal candidates will have strong leadership, crisis management, and scheduling skills, with experience in retail loss prevention preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail and/or loss prevention experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a security culture and crisis response within store operations.
• Oversee daily / weekly AP priorities to support business goals.
• Investigate internal and external theft, and implement prevention strategies.
• Schedule and develop a team of hourly associates; coach and evaluate performance.
• Ensure safety procedures and incident responses are followed; act as first responder.
• Collaborate with store leadership and law enforcement as needed.
