Job Overview

The Asset and Wealth Management Division (AWM) is seeking a Vice President to join the Data Operations team, providing dedicated support for the high-growth investing business within AWM. This diverse role involves collaboration across various departments, including Global Investing, Strategists, Engineering, Controllers, Legal, Risk, Credit, Tax, Compliance, and other operational groups, to facilitate a multi-asset, dynamic, and bespoke business environment.

Role Impact

The Vice President will support the Data Management & Controls Operations, collaborating with multiple teams to ensure high-quality, reliable data, and overseeing the creation and governance of data quality programs. The scope of this role will evolve with organizational changes and infrastructure enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform data entry, cleansing, checking, and standardization for investment data.
2. Identify and resolve data discrepancies.
3. Implement monitoring and governance models for data accuracy.
4. Analyze root causes of data issues and develop solutions.
5. Generate reports and visualizations from data.
6. Create data lineage documentation.
7. Collaborate on designing and improving data infrastructure.
8. Establish controls, reporting, and escalation protocols.
9. Decompose complex transactions and propose operational solutions.
10. Ensure completeness of deal closing documentation.
11. Engage with senior stakeholders to drive priorities.
12. Lead the strategic data governance initiatives across Asset Management.
13. Promote data quality, integrity, and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6-8 years of experience in financial services, preferably in Data Management & Controls.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and control skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated team player with ownership of projects.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Experience in Operations roles is preferred.
