Job summary

EMI Services is seeking an Asset Management & Subcontracts Administrator to support Fort Jackson operations in Columbia, SC. The role coordinates subcontractors, tracks assets and inventories, and ensures contract compliance with installation procedures.

The ideal candidate will have strong MS Office skills, exceptional organization, and the ability to work with government personnel, vendors, and internal teams. Base access must be obtainable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in asset management, inventory control, subcontractor coordination, facilities maintenance administration, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records, track multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate professionally with subcontractors, vendors, management, and government reps.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain US Military Base Access (US Citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors performing work on Fort Jackson.
• Assist with subcontractor access coordination and base-access procedures.
• Monitor subcontractor activities to meet schedules and contract requirements.
• Conduct routine checks to verify progress, completion and quality of work.
• Maintain daily records and tracking logs of assignments and status.
• Provide project updates and schedule changes to management.
• Act as liaison between subcontractors, facilities maintenance, and relevant personnel.
• Maintain asset records and track inventory and vehicle status.
