Qualifications

• 5-10 years of progressive operations experience in financial services, with asset servicing and voluntary corporate actions.
• Leadership track record leading, developing, and inspiring operational teams in high-volume environments.
• Advanced knowledge of event workflows, cash and security movements, accounting principles, deadlines, and risk controls.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities under market constraints.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills for diverse audiences.
• Proficiency with enterprise asset servicing platforms and market utilities (DTCC/CDS) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team managing end-to-end validation, election capture, and execution of voluntary corporate action events.
• Ensure prompt, precise execution and submission of client instructions to depositories and agents within market cutoffs.
• Direct position validation, instruction tracking, entitlement calculations, and settlement facilitation.
• Oversee investigations and resolution of discrepancies, inquiries, and market-driven exceptions.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments to design scalable straight-through processing enhancements.
• Provide continuous coaching to build team depth and resilience.
• Escalate and report risk metrics and incidents to senior management and governance bodies.
• Collaborate with custody operations, product, client service teams, and industry groups.
• Sponsor and drive operational transformation initiatives to improve STP rates and client experience.
