Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience in reutilization, transfer, donation (R/T/D), and/or sales of excess property.
• Knowledge of sales/referrals conducted in accordance with good merchandising practices and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to research disposal problems and develop corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks related to all technical aspects of the disposal program.
• Performs tasks relating to property disposal system through reutilization, transfer, donation (R/T/D) and sales of excess DoD property involving a large variety of specialized items and equipment.
• Oversees disposal contracts.
• May be responsible for the selection of property for sale and the preparation of sales write-ups.
• Ensures property is efficiently and effectively accounted for, described, and made available to organizations for screening.
