Job summary

Gerdau North America seeks an Asset Reliability Process (ARP) Planner to coordinate proactive maintenance, outages, and project work across assigned equipment. You will develop detailed job plans, manage CMMS data, and partner with reliability engineering, operations, and maintenance to improve safety, equipment reliability, and quality while reducing downtime.

The role requires a two-year degree or advanced technical training with 5+ years in heavy manufacturing and strong communication skills

Qualifications

• Requires a two-year degree OR advanced technical training with at least 5 years of experience.
• Mastery level knowledge of heavy manufacturing or related maintenance engineering activities.
• Extensive working knowledge of maintenance concepts and asset reliability technology.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate proactive maintenance including preventive, predictive, and project work.
• Manage non-emergency work backlog and scheduling during down-days/outages.
• Develop and maintain detailed job plans and CMMS data for planned maintenance.
• Support safety programs and ensure compliance with regulations and CMMS data integrity.
• Train maintenance personnel and collaborate with operations, reliability, and vendors.
