Job summary

Burlington Stores seeks a DC Asset Protection Supervisor to lead a team of up to 40 associates across multi-shift operations, including overnights and weekends, with multi-site responsibility.

You will investigate theft, manage truck gate accuracy and yard audits, and partner with DC Operations, Safety, HR, Facilities, and Logistics to safeguard assets and ensure safe, secure operations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree Preferred
• 2+ years of experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or a related field, preferably in a distribution or logistics environment managing teams of 15+ associates.
• Strong understanding of security systems such as CCTV, Card Access, and Burglary Alarms.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 40+ associates across multiple shifts, fostering accountability and high performance.
• Investigate incidents of theft or security breaches and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
• Oversee documentation, tracking, and verification of shipments at truck gates and perform yard audits.
• Assess technology and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety policies and company standards.
• Collaborate with DC Operations, Safety, HR, Facilities, and Logistics to uphold secure operations and risk mitigation.
• Prepare and present security reports and drive continuous improvements to reduce losses.
• Travel between distribution sites within a 25-mile radius as needed.
