Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a capable Asset Protection professional to safeguard customers, team members, and vendors. The role focuses on preventing theft, conducting surveillance, and documenting incidents for litigation when needed.

You will perform visual inspections, walk the store and backroom areas, review exception reports, and assist in apprehensions as part of proactive safety and loss prevention measures. A High School diploma is required with security experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months security experience or at least 1 year of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects building exterior/parking lot to mitigate hazards.
• Conducts walking inspections of backroom and sales floor.
• Reviews cashier exception reports and theft activity reports.
• Engages in surveillance of internal and external theft and shoplifting.
