Job summary

Meijer is seeking an Asset Protection team member to ensure the safety of customers and team members while protecting assets across stores. The role involves surveillance, incident reporting, and collaboration with store leadership to address safety concerns.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of security experience or 1 year of general work experience. This is an on-site position with opportunities for development within a large Midwest retailer.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months experience in security or at least 1 year of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects building exterior/parking lot to identify hazards.
• Conducts walking inspections of backroom and sales floor.
• Reviews exception reports and theft activity.
• Participates in apprehension of theft and supports investigations.
• Maintains thorough documentation and writes incident reports.
