Job summary

Meijer in Michigan is seeking an Asset Protection Associate to safeguard customers, teammates and store assets. You will visually inspect exteriors, conduct backroom and floor surveillance, review exception reports, and assist in apprehensions, with extensive incident documentation for litigation and court proceedings.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 months security experience or 1 year of general work experience.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects building exterior/parking lot to identify hazards.
• Conducts walking inspections of backroom and sales floor.
• Reviews cashier exception reports and theft activity reports.
• Conducts internal theft surveillance and shoplifting surveillance.
• Reports safety hazards to Store Leadership and participates in investigations and court proceedings.
