• Assist the Asset Protection Department in shrink reduction activity, including internal and external theft, exception-based reporting and other audits.
• Develop knowledge of criminal justice system and laws pertaining to private security practices.
• Maintain relationships with local police and court systems.
• Complete and maintain accurate reports and files.
• Deter shoplifters following company guidelines and legal statutes; may make court appearances.
• Proficient in CCTV and asset protection technologies and programs.
• Train new Asset Protection Coordinators and assist Regional Asset Protection Manager.
