Job summary

Old Navy is seeking an Asset Protection Coordinator to execute safety and shortage reduction strategies across one or more stores. You will investigate theft, train store teams, and work with law enforcement to protect people and products in a fast-paced, inclusive environment.

Main duties include leading investigations, applying surveillance insights, and implementing prevention programs. The role emphasizes safety culture, audits, and cross-store collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting investigations into theft or fraud.
• Ability to train store teams on safety protocols and incident reporting.
• Experience working with law enforcement and understanding legal processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations into internal and external theft using surveillance systems and case management tools.
• Partner with store leadership to identify shortage risks and implement prevention strategies.
• Train store teams on safety protocols, theft deterrence, and incident reporting systems.
• Collaborate with law enforcement to build and prosecute cases involving offenders.
• Perform regular security audits to ensure compliance with physical security standards and company policies.
• Support emergency preparedness by helping stores plan for and respond to safety incidents or crises.
• Analyze incident trends and share insights with AP leadership to inform prevention strategies.
• Represent the AP function in store-level meetings and contribute to a culture of safety and accountability.
