Job summary

Sephora is seeking an Asset Protection Partner in Torrance to safeguard assets and maintain a safe, inclusive environment for clients and employees. You will work with store leaders to implement safety and shrink strategies while spending 75-80% of time on the selling floor to deter theft and support service.

The role requires 1–2 years in retail or loss prevention; strong communication and de-escalation skills; ability to lift up to 50lbs; and a commitment to inclusivity.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection or loss prevention.
• Understanding of retail operations, shrink, and safety.
• Ability to build trust and collaborate across teams.
• Conflict de-escalation skills.
• Comfortable with CCTV and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety and awareness across store operations.
• Lead and participate in meetings and training for asset protection.
• Maintain a strong store presence to deter theft and support service.
• Partner with leadership to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives.
• Monitor and investigate using CCTV and reporting tools.
• Respond to incidents professionally with safety first.
• Complete audits and reports for asset protection.
