Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Security professional in Michigan to safeguard customers, team members, and assets across our stores. You will conduct surveillance, inspect premises, review reports, and support investigations while ensuring safety and compliance.

Key duties include testifying in court when required and maintaining thorough incident documentation. A high school diploma and at least 6 months in security are required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in security or at least 1 year of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects building exterior/parking lot to mitigate hazards.
• Conducts walking inspections of backroom and sales floor.
• Reviews cashier exception reports and theft activity.
• Performs internal theft surveillance and shoplifting surveillance.
• Testifies in criminal court and/or civil court proceedings.
• Maintains thorough incident documentation and reports.
