Position Purpose:

The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud, supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store(s). Responsibilities include:

1. Identifying incidents of theft and fraud.
2. Reviewing CCTV and exception reports.
3. Monitoring physical security.
4. Auditing Electronic Article Surveillance systems.
5. Driving a shrink elimination culture.
6. Preparing detailed case reports, documenting apprehensions and recoveries.
7. Preserving evidence and interacting with law enforcement, including testifying in court.
8. Reporting hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty.
9. Carrying out responsibilities safely, minimizing injury risks.
10. Demonstrating integrity and supporting store-specific business objectives.
