The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud, and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store(s). Responsibilities include:

1. Identifying incidents of theft and fraud
2. Reviewing CCTV and exception reports
3. Monitoring physical security
4. Auditing Electronic Article Surveillance systems
5. Driving a shrink elimination culture
6. Preparing detailed case reports
7. Preserving evidence and interacting with law enforcement
8. Testifying in criminal and civil court cases
9. Reporting hazardous or unsafe conditions
10. Minimizing risk of injury to all stakeholders

The Specialist must demonstrate integrity, respond to asset protection concerns, and support store-specific business objectives while maintaining safety and operational standards.
