The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud, supporting safety and environmental program compliance, and minimizing loss through various tools. Responsibilities include:

1. Identifying incidents of theft and fraud.
2. Reviewing CCTV and exception reports.
3. Monitoring physical security.
4. Auditing Electronic Article Surveillance.
5. Driving a shrink elimination culture in the store.
6. Preparing detailed case reports, documenting apprehensions and recoveries.
7. Preserving evidence and interacting with law enforcement.
8. Testifying in criminal and civil court actions.
9. Reporting hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty.
10. Carrying out responsibilities safely, minimizing injury risks.
11. Demonstrating integrity and supporting operational concerns while focusing on store objectives.
