Job summary

Safeway in Longmont, CO is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist to prevent loss and ensure a safe, secure store environment. You will monitor areas for fraud, compliance discrepancies, and related activities, using surveillance and store systems. Apprehensions are carried out per policy and local laws with safety as the priority.

You will help protect customers, associates and partners while upholding company standards and values. A strong focus on teamwork and ongoing training is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience in loss prevention, asset protection or related fields.
• Pride in work and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work in diverse store environments and outside perimeters.

A Day In The Life

As the Asset Protection Specialist, no one day is ever the same! You are focused on preventing loss and controlling shrink by monitoring various areas of the store for fraud, compliance discrepancies, and other related activities. You work to identify potential concerns through use of our video surveillance and other systems and apprehend in accordance with company policy, local and state laws with safety as the prevailing priority. The Asset Protection Specialist ensures the store is a safe and secure environment for our customers, associates, and business partners.
