ASSET PROTECTION SPECIALIST (Finance)

Protect company assets through safety initiatives, inventory recovery, and theft reduction programs. Assist in reducing lost inventory, time, and assets; monitor surveillance equipment; and collaborate with the district asset protection (AP) manager on AP initiatives. Identify, observe, and apprehend shoplifters and others involved in criminal activity impacting the company. Responsibilities

1. Conduct plainclothes surveillance to detect loss.
2. Investigate and report findings; apprehend involved individuals.
3. Comply with laws and company policies.
4. Perform security checks; recommend loss prevention measures.
5. Collaborate with law enforcement; prepare case reports.
6. Identify and resolve issues affecting shrink and safety.
7. Serve as liaison to develop loss reduction solutions.
8. Complete detailed reports on AP activities.
9. Support AP initiatives and ensure strategy implementation.
10. Assist with investigations and testify in court when needed.
11. Test AP equipment during store visits.
12. Travel across divisions; work varied schedules, including weekends.
13. Manage conflicts professionally; work under stress.
14. Act with honesty and integrity in all dealings.
15. Follow directions; seek assistance as needed.
16. Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
17. Perform essential functions with or without accommodations.

Salary Range: $20.55 - $30.30
