Position Purpose:
The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud, supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store(s). They utilize tools such as CCTV, exception reports, and physical security measures to minimize loss, identify incidents of theft and fraud, review surveillance footage, audit Electronic Article Surveillance systems, and promote a shrink elimination culture. Responsibilities also include preparing detailed case reports, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement, and testifying in court.
