The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud, supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store or multiple stores. Responsibilities include:

1. Utilizing tools to minimize loss, such as identifying theft and fraud incidents, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring physical security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance, and promoting a shrink elimination culture.
2. Preparing accurate case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement, and testifying in court.
3. Reporting hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty.
4. Carrying out responsibilities in a manner that minimizes injury risks to themselves, colleagues, vendors, customers, and the Company.
5. Demonstrating integrity at all times and supporting store-specific business objectives and key asset protection responsibilities.
