We’re looking for a Loss Prevention Associate to:

• Contribute to shortage reduction and investigations
• Work with the General Manager to ensure policies and procedures are followed
• Maintain the employee entrance and track deliveries
• Conduct security checks and suggest loss prevention strategies
• Perform store walk-throughs and move throughout the store to ensure safety and security

Qualifications include:

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with all staff levels
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years retail Loss Prevention experience
• Basic understanding of retail or security
• Availability to work nights and weekends as needed
• Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours, lift/carry 20 lbs
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently
• Understanding of Five Below policies and product knowledge in key areas

Additional Responsibilities:

• Provide a visual presence and courteous interaction with customers
• Conduct safety inspections and report hazards
• Greet customers professionally
