Job summary

Macy's Inc. is seeking an Asset Protection Officer to help safeguard assets and ensure associate safety in our distribution environment.

You will perform a range of security duties, logging activities, monitoring access, and responding to alarms as part of maintaining a secure operation. This role requires a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with teams to protect customers and colleagues in a

Qualifications

• PC programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) for reporting and logs.
• Attention to detail in logs and discrepancy reports.
• Ability to respond quickly to alarms and emergencies.
• Understand and enforce facility rules and regulations.
• Operate CCTV and power equipment safely.
• Troubleshoot issues during audits or emergencies.
• Balance independent work with teamwork when needed.
• Read and interpret safety instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete inbound/outbound trailer and carrier logs and discrepancy reports.
• Maintain access control for all individuals entering/exiting the facility.
• Respond to alarm systems and building emergencies.
• Conduct audits on carriers and monitor activities of staff and visitors.
• Enforce facility rules and maintain a secure environment.
• Operate power equipment and CCTV as required.
• Demonstrate dependable attendance and punctuality.
