Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Proven track record in loss prevention or security.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with leadership regarding encounters and investigations.
• Maintain a professional relationship with local authorities and law enforcement.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other retailers to identify threats.
• Assist leadership with cash handling and transfers.
• Observe customers and associates for potential theft or fraud.
• Address external theft concerns with sight and strategy per policy.
• Monitor video via CCTV and conduct on-site interviews.
• Document incidents with objective, timely reports.
• Maintain apprehension and investigation records per standards.
• Develop knowledge and use of CCTV surveillance equipment.
• Monitor store compliance with theft deterrence, safety, and controls.
• Maintain a visible deterrent to crime and support inventory controls.
• Work night, weekend, and/or early morning hours as needed.
