Job summary

Scheels in Cedar Park, TX is seeking a part-time Loss Prevention Associate to help protect people and merchandise. You will monitor store activity, report incidents, and work with leadership to deter theft while delivering a safe shopping environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, strong communication and organization skills, and 2–3 years of loss prevention experience. Evening and weekend shifts are part of the schedule, with pay at $18 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with leadership regarding encounters and investigations.
• Maintain professional relationships with local authorities and law enforcement.
• Collaborate with other retailers to identify organized retail crime threats.
• Assist leadership with cash handling and transfers.
• Observe customers and associates for potential acts of theft or fraud.
• Monitor video CCTV footage and conduct on-site interviews.
• Document incidents with objective reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain records per company standards and policies.
